Student Engagement 2024-2025

Seniors Owen Grass and Elizabeth Thralls were named Mr. and Miss Union for Union High School. Being named Mr. and Miss Union is considered the highest honor a student can receive at Union High School.

In March 2025, Union hosted 11 schools and 38 teams at an elementary robotics competition called Redhawks Robotics Rumble at the Union 6th and 7th Grade Center. Darnaby’s STEM Strategist Mackensie Mathison spearheaded the event as both elementary and middle schools teams competed to qualify for the state championship.

Union Career Connect hosted a career fair in April at the UMAC. Participating businesses had the opportunity to recruit Union students for current and future openings at their companies.

Union’s Career Connect program received the Mentorship Matters Award of Excellence from the Junior League of Tulsa in March.
